Better Access to Mental Health

One of the ways that clients are able to access medicare funding for Occupational Therapy services, is through the Better Access to Mental Health funding.  This funding is part of the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative.

Key Points about this funding are:

  • Access to the funding can be provided by referral from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician and is allocated at their discretion.
  • The referral will be to your therapist at Grow On Children’s Occupational Therapy and often comes in the form of a letter.
