Lara is the Practice Principal of Grow On Childrens Therapy. Lara is a graduate of the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (2001). For the past 12 years Lara has worked in private practice providing occupational therapy for children. Prior to this Lara worked in hospitals and community health for Qld Health for 6 years in the field of neurological rehabilitation and developmental paediatrics.
Lara's work at Grow On involves both working with children and families, and providing leadership to the therapy team. She loves connecting with kids and parents and helping them to problem solve, develop and grow through challenges. Lara is particularly interested in early intervention and in the practical problems that children often face such as feeding and toileting.
Lara is currently completing her Advanced Practioner Training in the Early Start Denver Model for Early Intervention. She has also completed further training in:
- Feeding Therapy (Sequential Oral Sensory Approach; Sense-ational Mealtimes Model)
- Paediatric Continence and Toileting
- Developmental Coordination Disorder (using both Sensory Integration Approach and Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance Approach)
- DIR floortime
- Sensory Defensiveness: A comprehensive treatment approach. Including the Therapressure - Technique (Wilbarger approach).
- Cogmed Coaching
Lara is married to Brian Moes, who is the Practice Manager at Grow On Childrens Therapy, and has three school age children.
Zac is the Clinical Director at the Springfield Clinic and one of the Senior Occupational Therapists at the Gold Coast Clinic. Zac completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) degree in 2012, at the University of South Australia and initially worked in an adult community mental health setting for a year before moving into paediatrics.
He has worked with children from 2-18 years of age with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays and social/emotional difficulties. Zac brings a calm, engaging and positive manner to his sessions enabling the children to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
Zac grew up in a large family by the beach in Adelaide. As a child Zac enjoyed mowing the lawn, building forts and playing with Lego. Outside of work, Zac likes to surf and train Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Zac works at Ashmore on Monday, Thursday and Friday; and Springfield on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Janelle is an Occupational Therapist based out of our Ashmore clinic now specialising in providing school based therapy. Janelle completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) degree in 1993, at La Trobe University in Victoria. She has had experience in a wide range of areas including neurological rehabilitation, community based therapy, working in remote areas of Australia and paediatrics. Over the course of her career she has taken a break in OT for family and has now been with Grow On Children’s occupational therapy for 3 ½ years.
Janelle enjoys working with children and engaging with them in therapy in a positive way, ensuring that therapy is rewarding and enjoyable for the child. She enjoys getting to know the children within their school environment and developing a rapport with the teachers and schools she works with. She knows how important family is to children and so even when working within the school she makes sure to communicate with families and to encourage them so they can be active in their child’s ongoing therapy.
Janelle is married and has 3 girls and loves to spend time with friends and family. In her spare time she enjoys camping and travelling as well as cooking, helping out friends, going for walks and spending time at the beach.
Jaiden completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2014 at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. Jaiden is passionate about working with children and aims to provide children and their families with individualised and meaningful support to achieve positive outcomes. One of the things that allow her to do an excellent job of helping children achieve success is her fun and relaxing manner.
Jaiden has a special interest in working in early intervention and supporting children to learn new skills. Jaiden is currently completing her advanced certification in the Early Start Denver Model. She also has further training in feeding therapy using the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding.
When she is not working with families, Jaiden loves spending time with her family and is expecting her first child in May 2020. Jaiden loves taking her dogs to the beach and playing and coaching netball.
Jaiden works at our Ashmore clinic Monday-Friday.
Jaiden will be on Maternity Leave from the 24th of April, 2020.
